Duties
What will I do in this position if hired?
In this position, you will serve as a Contract Specialist for FEMA’s Regional Offices, Region Ten, Mission Support Division, Finance Branch in Bothell, WA. Typical assignments include:
- Serving as a Contracting Specialist in support of FEMA Region Ten and disaster field offices within the region, including contract formation, solicitation, negotiations, cost and price analysis, award, contract administration, termination, and close-out.
- Functioning as a team lead to assign, and balance the work of team members, establish priorities, monitor progress, evaluate completed work, and ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve acquisition issues, obtain required resources, and ensure contract actions support mission requirements and strategic priorities.
