Here in the College of Business, we have several different career-oriented clubs with which you can get involved! We strongly suggest you attend our annual Casino Night event (Sept. 9th 5-7pm in the COB Atrium!) to learn more about each of these wonderful organizations! Then, start attending a few to explore a possible career path (many upperclassmen/graduate students to mingle with!) Begin to step into more and more leadership opportunities – either through leading club events or projects, or even run for an officer position!
As the 26-27 Academic Year begins, we will add meeting information and calendar links for all clubs!
The Accounting Club of the University of Wyoming will aim to educate students on relevant accounting topics, provide networking opportunities between students and employers, help students with professional development and career preparation, and provide accounting tutoring for the College of Business as a whole.
We are focused on giving students experiential learning surrounding the field of blockchain. This includes learning about cryptocurrencies, business applications, and hands on learning. There will also be opportunities for students to explore ideas they want to work on around the space as well.
The club meets bi-weekly from 4:30 to 5:30 on Thursdays in BU 129. (Usually have free food for our meetings) We support the annual Wyoming Blockchain Stampede. We support the annual Wyoming Blockchain Stampede. We host Blockchain Seminar which is an informational session open to all UW faculty, students, and staff.
A student organization that prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through competitive events, real-world experience, and classroom integration.
Economics Club brings together students from all backgrounds to discuss the field of economics. Such as what you can do with an economics major? What you can study using economics? and more. We talk about Monetary Theory, Game Theory, and other exciting areas in economics. Our weekly meetings are laid back and we hope to use them to create a place for friendships to form and grow. We plan events surrounding economic issues that are open to all students on campus. We participate in service projects to grow together as well as give back to the community of Laramie.
The University of Wyoming Ethics Club’s mission is to develop future ethical leaders and help establish an ethical framework for students. In addition, we strive to positively impact society by providing fulfilling philanthropic and community service activities that better our students, our college, and our community.
The Financial Management Association of the University of Wyoming aims to support college students in their professional, educational, and social growth, particularly those interested in finance, banking, and investments. FMA is dedicated to creating an environment that fosters learning and networking opportunities for students in these fields. Through our association, we aim to facilitate interaction between students, business executives, and faculty members, promoting a collaborative and dynamic environment for learning and development.
The mission of the UW Selling for Impact Club is to be an inclusive and ethical community of young professionals through which all members have the opportunity to fine-tune their sales skills, to grow personally and professionally, and to form genuine relationships.
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Club is a club that uses SHRM’s resources to discuss common HR activities, provide professional development, and facilitate interaction between HR professionals and students in the College of Business.
University of Wyoming’s Supply Chain Club is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering professional development, leadership, and networking opportunities for students interested in supply chain and logistics. The club is open to all majors and class standings, with a focus on building connections across campus and preparing members for careers in operations, logistics, and related fields. Through regular meetings, events, and collaborations, the club aims to empower future leaders and provide insights into the dynamic world of supply chain management.
The purpose of Women in Business at the University of Wyoming (WiB-UW) is to empower, develop, and support females pursuing a career in business. Our goal is to develop a sense of achievement and confidence that our members will carry with them during their time in college and into their professional careers.

On August 26th, several RSO officers spoke with incoming freshmen about getting involved in College of Business organizations! A special shout-out to Etornam, Robert, Makena, Caroline, and Carter for representing their RSOs, connecting with students, and encouraging them to put their talents to good use!
