Company Description

The Social Chair is a full-service Greek event planning company based in Dallas, TX. With over 5,000+ events at numerous schools across the nation, we specialize in artist and venue booking, travel, production, formals and away weekends and more. Our goal is to provide the best customer experience and handle all the event needs of Greek organizations.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Business Development Representative at The Social Chair in Dallas, TX. As the Business Development Representative you will be responsible for building, growing, and managing a personal portfolio of clients and their needs. Success in this role requires proactively coordinating venues and developing new client relationships, influencing product specification, and ensuring high-quality execution through close collaboration with The Social Chair Team and all it’s vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Development
  • Proactively source, develop, and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Schedule and conduct regular in-person client meetings and site visits
  • Maintain consistent, structured communication through scheduled check-ins with vendors and venues
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client relationships

Qualifications

  • Event Planning and Event Management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Greek Life is a plus
