The City of Bozeman is accepting applications for a Financial Management Analyst to join our Finance Department. This position offers the opportunity to make a city-wide impact by improving financial systems, processes, and decision-making. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical finance professional who thrives on solving complex problems and driving efficiency through data and technology. In this role, you will provide leadership and support in the City’s ERP replacement effort and produce financial analyses and reports to improve efficiency and lead to better decision making. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying and implementing process improvements, managing cross-functional projects, and collaborating across departments to strengthen overall fiscal performance.

Wage: $89, 486.16 – $98,335.50 annually depending on experience.

Work Week: Typically, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field; and
  • Considerable (3-5) years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, or related management analysis work, including experience in project management or process improvement; or
  • Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
